Liam Cardenas of Modular Cloud speaks about his experience with Saga Cassiopeia

“It was an extremely seamless process. I am always intimidated when going into something new. It has always been the case that setting up a chain has been challenging. That was not the case with Saga. The team has really thought through the process. I was able to set up my Chainlet and get my block explorer and index transactions in my Chainlet right away.”

Liam Cardenas of Modular Cloud speaks about his experience with Saga Cassiopeia

Modular Cloud CEO and Founder Liam Cardenas has built a block explorer designed to be compatible with Saga Cassiopeia. Along the way, he experienced the ease of use of launching Saga Chainlets and shared with us how he felt about the experience.

Here are a few highlights:

“Projects like Saga allow anyone to launch their own Chainlet, which is a blockchain, enabling developers to connect to one another via IBC. In the future there will be thousands of blockchains and we provide infrastructure and tooling to support this new world we are entering into.”

“It was an extremely seamless process. I am always intimidated when going into something new. It has always been the case that setting up a chain has been challenging. That was not the case with Saga. The team has really thought through the process. I was able to set up my Chainlet and get my block explorer and index transactions in my Chainlet right away.”

“You want it to be easy to deploy your own chain and share security protocols and make it easy to transfer value across chains. If all those pieces are in place you don’t need to coordinate with everyone else to provide the base layer to solve an average persons needs.

“In the case of launching your own chain you can set the parameters such as blocktime and which virtual machine. You don’t have to depend on having the L1 devs enabling your use case or a governance vote to make that happen. Saga allows you to do that.”

“I think developers should try Saga Cassiopeia. It is definitely worth looking into. There are a lot of applications which may not have been well suited for smart contracts and this may be exactly what they need.”
